13th Annual U.S. – China Eco-Environmental Symposium

The University of Tennessee and Washington State University welcome food-energy-water (FEW) systems researchers from across the U.S. and China to exchange innovations, share ongoing research, and explore new research and partnerships with industry, government leaders, and non-profit organizations. The format of the symposium will emphasize panel presentations, poster sessions, and roundtable discussions designed to optimize networking opportunities and encourage collaboration. Attendees will work face-to-face to develop grant proposals, integrate and narrow research plans, and interact across research groups.

Tentative Agenda:

  • October 26: Arrive, opening poster session, reception
  • October 27: Plenary Sessions and Breakout Group Discussions
  • October 28: Breakout Groups and Proposal Development
  • October 29: Optional Tours: State-of-the-Art Wastewater Treatment Plant; Agriculture at the Urban-Rural Interface; Green Stormwater Infrastructure (TBD)
